Navigator Doctor Editor Viewer

The opening of the data is made by the structure in order to force the request of the Password and to check the conformity of the data compared to the structure.

Rescue For 4D Data does not analyze the .RSR file. As such, it cannot know where the data is located by default. It will seek one data file of the same name .4DB in the same index. If it does not find it, it will display the dialog of the file selected.

One directly can drag the database onto the greeting window. Rescue For 4D Data will remember that it must work with this database. If you release the database onto one of the Navigator icons (Doctor, Viewer, Editor), the database will immediately open with the selected module.

Dragging and dropping a database on the Rescue For 4D Data icon launches the application while opening the file.

Select a 4D structure file and click on the 'Open' button.

The Password request on the database is a little particular: Rescue For 4D Data requests the password but not the name of the user. It then looks for the corresponding password in SuperUser or the Administrator (never in the users).

Users, therefore, cannot use Rescue For 4D Data (for the aforementioned reasons).
SuperUser has access to everything. A SuperUser knows the database and can make any change. The administrator has all the rights except being able to change automatic classification.

After having entered the Password, a window indicates names and rights. One can remove this window in Preferences.

While holding the 'Alt' key as you select the structure, Rescue for 4D Data opens a second dialog allowing for choice of data. If you does not hold the 'Alt' key, Rescue for 4D Data takes, by default, data of the same name, in the same index.

If the Data file is not found, Rescue For 4D Data displays the following message:

If the data it selects does not correspond to the structure, the following message appears:
